Getting the best reading

• Close and straight. Photograph one measure or one line, close up, with the phone parallel to the page.
• Light matters. Even, bright light without hard shadows; the in-app torch helps in the evening.
• Printed music works best. Notalune is built for printed sheet music; handwriting is not supported.
• Blanks are deliberate. When Notalune isn't sure about a note, it leaves it unnamed rather than guess, tap the note to name it yourself, or re-shoot with better light.
• Check the clef. After a reading, a small band under the measure asks whether the clef and the sharps and flats are right, one tap sets them. A wrong clef would mis-name every note on the page.

Purchases & restore

Notalune Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple. To restore it on a new device, use “Restore purchase” in the app's settings, you will never be charged twice. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy questions

The short answer: the app collects no data and never connects to the internet. The long answer is the privacy policy.
